In the first quarter of 2025, the top air travel apps on the Android platform in Central America demonstrated notable trends in downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Volaris 2.0 saw a dramatic rise in weekly downloads, starting at just 260 and soaring to over 207K by the end of March. This surge was mirrored in its active user base, which increased from 224 to nearly 219K.

Viva maintained a consistent download rate, peaking at around 25.5K in early March. Its weekly active users showed a steady increase from approximately 450K to over 473K by the quarter's end.

Volaris experienced fluctuations in downloads, with a decline from 25K in early March to 11.8K by the end of the month. Active users initially rose to 545K mid-quarter before dropping to 423K.

Aeromexico maintained stable download numbers, hovering around 8K weekly. Its active user count increased steadily from 160K to over 211K throughout the quarter.

Flightradar24 Flight Tracker experienced a slight dip in downloads, starting at 6.7K and ending at 7K. However, the app's revenue varied, peaking at $1.9K in early January before stabilizing around $1.5K in March. Active users saw a decline from 105K to about 88K.
